Guidewire specific skills:
• Very good understanding of Guidewire framework, architecture and implementation
• Deep understanding of Policy Center
• Hands on experience with Guidewire integrations mechanisms - Messaging, Web Services, Plugins
• Hands on experience with Guidewire configurations - Product Model, PCFs, Data Model
• Understanding of Guidewire digital/Edge APIs platform
• Excellent programming skills in Gosu and scripting
• Experience in writing unit and functional tests
• An understanding of the insurance business, an ability to talk to business analysts and SMEs to translate business requirements into system changes

Development Skills:
• Must be highly competent in SQL
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented design and methodologies
• Hands-on experience working in SCRUM based agile teams
• Experience with the Open API specification and Swagger tooling
• Should have understanding and experience of software development best practices

Nice to have:
• Java 8 knowledge or experience
• Prior experience of working in any similar (Guidewire like) frameworks
• Guidewire Certification

Experience and other skills:
• 4 to 6 years of experience in Guidewire development specifically Policy Center - working on Agile methodology.
• Very good communication.
• Deep understanding on application development and life cycle.
• Experience in Insurance domain, preferably in Property & Casualty.
• Very good analytical and logical thinking ability.
• Committed, fast learner and proactive in nature.
